Adopt A Park - Lost & Found Youth Outreach

photo: park clean-upLost & Found held their first Adopt A Park work party last Friday! The weather was perfect and timing was good so the part looked top notch for the Easter Egg hunt on Saturday.

Is your organization, family, or neighborhood interested in giving back to the Pendleton community? This is a great way to pitch and and take pride in your city.

New Brochure - Important Message Re Summer Camp

We expect to be able to mail the Spring Summer 2014 brochure around April 18/19, with registration scheduled to begin April 25. Meanwhile, you can explore it using the link to the left.

We've been gettting a lot of calls about the Summer Parks Adventure Camp, so we thought we'd better get this schedule out there. For those who are planning to register for the camp, and qualify for financial assistance, please complete your paperwork and bring it to the Parks office no later than April 18 in order to begin registration on April 25 with everyone else. We are sending a flyer out to the schools shortly explaining the new weekly fee of $15.

Season Passes to the Aquatic Center - 10% Early Bird Discount

photo: swimmer with gogglesNOW is the time to purchase your 2014 season pass to the Pendleton Family Aquatic Center! Okay, you really have through June 12, the day before the pool opens to purchase your pass at the discounted rate. A full price family pass is $130 but the early bird discount brings this down to $117 for up to five family members. Here's the math - if a family of two adults and three children go to the pool it's $24 per day at the daily admission rate.  If you only go five times during a summer, you could have purchased a season pass and saved money. You can't beat that deal! And you know what happens when you procrastinate, so come see us soon!
