1) Lifeguard at Pendleton Aquatic Center

Requirements:

  • 18 years of age or high school graduate
  • Have lifeguard certificate/or be willing to take class; starts June 15th, cost $170.

Job Description:

  • Lifeguard at the Aquatic Center during open swim, swim lessons and private parties.
  • Facility upkeep at end of night.

2) Concession/Admissions

Requirements:

  • 18 years of age or high school graduate.

Job Description:

  • Run cash register
  • Answer phone, file, sell season passes
  • Cook and prepare food
  • Sell concession products
  • Facility upkeep at end of night

3) Softball Field Supervisor

Requirements:

  • 18 years of age or high school graduate
  • Some knowledge of field upkeep
  • Must be able to work evening hours

Job Description:

  • Rake, line and maintain softball fields at Community Park
  • Oversee concession stand for ballfield
  • Keep game score for league manager
  • Field upkeep at end of night.

 4) Park Leader

Requirements:

  • College student, prefer Education major
  • CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain one

Job Description:

  • Plan activities for youth ages 8-14 in a summer day camp environment
  • Supervise regular trips to Aquatic Center and Library, encourging safe & respectful behavior
  • Participate in Friday field trips to a variety of destinations
  • Assist with Movies-In-The- Park pre-show activities
  • Program runs for 7 weeks from mid-June to mid-August

5) Til Taylor Wading Pool Attendent

Requirements:

  • 18 years old or high school graduate
  • CPR/First Aid certification or ability to obtain one

Job Description:

  • Supervise use of pool, ensuring the safe enjoyment of the facility for patrons
  • Monitor chemistry of pool water
  • Follow opening and closing procedures
  • Season runs mid-June to mid-August
