2010 Summer Swim Lessons
Pre-Registration Information

One instructor is assigned to each class of up to 8 swimmers. If youth volunteers are available, they will assist the instructor with skill instruction. Participants with serious water adjustment concerns should be entered in Parent/Tot classes or arrange for private instruction. Classes meet Monday - Thursday for two weeks.

Pre-Registration Day

  • Wednesday, May 19th, 5:00 to 7:00 pm at the Pendleton Recreation Center, 500 SW Dorion.

Class Registration

Registration will continue during public open hours of the pool after pre-registration.

Class Fees & Session - 2010

Pendleton city residents, $30/session; outside city limits, $35/session; private lessons, $50. For private lessons call 276-0104 during open hours at the Aquatic Center.  Class schedules and descriptions can be found in the online registration system though actual registration will take place at the Aquatic Center during open hours.

Private Lessons

Private lessons are available for all lesson levels depending on instructor availability. Private lessons are four (4) 45 minute-long classes.

Survival Swim

An adult class that teaches the fundamentals of staying afloat. Becoming confident around water is the goal. Learn basic rescue skills along with familiarity with pools.

 

Winter Swim Lessons

A continuation of our summer swim lessons condensed into five Saturdays; classes will be 45 minutes long with 8 kids maximum for each class. Held at Blue Mountain Community College on Saturdays, 9:00 -9:45 or 10:00-10:30 am; fee $35; will cover skill levels of Parent/Tot, Level I, II, III, and IV.

Session 1 starts October 17; register by October 16
Session 2 starts November 21; register by November 20
