Pre-Registration Information

One instructor is assigned to each class of up to 8 swimmers. If youth volunteers are available, they will assist the instructor with skill instruction. Participants with serious water adjustment concerns should be entered in Parent/Tot classes or arrange for private instruction. Classes meet Monday - Thursday for two weeks.

  • Wednesday, May 23, 5:00-7:00 pm in the Foundation Room (lower level) at the Recreation Center, 510 SW Dorion.

Class Registration

After pre-registration days above, please contact the pool to schedule swim lessons at 541-276-0104 from Noon to 8:00 pm. Or stop by the pool during lesson hours and ask to speak with the lesson coordinator.

Class Fees & Session - 2011

Pendleton city residents, $35/session; outside city limits, $40/session; private lessons, $55. For private lessons call 276-0104 during open hours at the Aquatic Center.  Class schedules and descriptions can be found in the online registration system though actual registration will take place at the Aquatic Center during open hours.

Private Lessons

Private lessons are available for all lesson levels depending on instructor availability. Private lessons are four (4) 45 minute-long classes.

Survival Swim

An adult class that teaches the fundamentals of staying afloat. Becoming confident around water is the goal. Learn basic rescue skills along with familiarity with pools.
