Pendleton Parks, Recreation and Cemetery

The following files are intended to help you locate your loved ones at Olney Cemetery. We're happy to assist during regular office hours but sometimes families can only visit evenings or weekends when we're not available. We apologize for the inconsistent quality of the maps as they were taken from some very old maps that can be hard to read.

The size and/or shape of some of the blocks means the maps are divided into more than one map.Here's how to get started:

1. Look up the name of the person on the records page. Names are listed alphabetically. Note the block, lot and grave number from this list.
2. Blocks - Determine the general location using the block map.
3. Lots - Narrow your search down further using the lot maps. The lot maps are oriented with north at the top of the page. This orients them the same way as on the block maps and sometimes the easiest way to match the two are by shape, but they are also numbered. Once you're in the cemetery you'll see short, brown wooden signs along the roads that mark the dividing lines between lots.
4. Graves - The lot maps also have grave numbers.  On the block map there is an illustration on the right hand side that tells how graves are typically laid out.  This is a general guide - the lot maps will be the most accurate. No map detail is available for graves in the Catholic section.
